Position of Treasurer

Brighton Hill Preschool
employs around 9 members of staff, part-time and full time. It is a charity run by a committee of volunteers. We are currently looking for a new treasurer!
This is a voluntary post that requires some commitment. Duties and responsibilities include -
● Keeping the accounts up-to-date on google drive.
● Drawing out financial paperwork as required, including end of year reports.
● Collecting receipts from pre-school and printing invoices and remittance advices to marry up to accounts.
● Paying invoices in good time as well as monies for wages/HMRC (External company handles payroll).
● Keep in contact via email with suppliers.
● Collecting monies from the pre-school and depositing in the bank.
● Be in weekly contact with other committee members and pre-school manager about issues arising, either via email, whatsapp or in person as required.
● Supporting and working closely with the Secretary and chair.
